Motorcycle FAQs

  • What is the difference between the BRC-1 and the BRC-2 Motorcycle Classes?

The BRC-1 is a beginner class that teaches you how to ride and is great for students with little to no riding experience. We supply the motorcycles and you do not need your motorcycle temps, only your regular driver’s license or automobile temps. 3 day class, $320.

The BRC-2 is an intermediate class that teaches you skills to improve your riding experience. This course is for experienced riders that have at least 2,000 miles of riding on their own motorcycle and can control their personal bike in low speed maneuvers. You must be at least 18 years old and will need to ride your own motorcycle in class. You will need your motorcycle temps for the class. 1 day class, $200.

For both classes, upon successful completion, you will receive a $25 gift certificate and valuable coupons for local motorcycle shops, a completion card to receive your motorcycle license at your local DMV and to receive insurance discounts for your motorcycle insurance (depending on your insurance company).

  • I want to take the BRC-2 class, however my motorcycle temps is expired for the 3rd time and I can’t renew it again, what can I do?

Sign up and pay for the BRC-2 motorcycle class and send us an email requesting for proof of enrollment. We will send you the paperwork you need to renew your motorcycle temps at your local DMV for the class.

  • If I am under the age of 18 years old and want to receive my Motorcycle Temps and ride my motorcycle before a beginner motorcycle class (BRC-1), what should I do?

Register and pay for the BRC-1 class and send us an email requesting proof of enrollment. We will send you the paperwork that is required by DMV for you to receive your Motorcycle Temps.

  • What type of gear is required for both motorcycle classes?

Above the ankle-bone footwear, long sleeved shirt or jacket, durable long pants (no holes in the pants, no jogging pants and no stretch pants), full fingered gloves, eye protection and a DOT approved helmet( ½, ¾ or full face are acceptable). All detailed gear is State of Wisconsin required and you can’t ride without it!

For the BRC-1 class we have helmets and gloves for you to use at no extra cost, however it is highly recommended that you provide your own (sanitary reasons).

For the BRC-2 class you are required to have all of your own gear and motorcycle.
