Motorcycle FAQs

  • What is the difference between the BRC-1 and the BRC-2 Motorcycle Classes?

The BRC-1 is a beginner class that teaches you how to ride and is great for students with little to no riding experience. We supply the motorcycles and you do not need your motorcycle temps, only your regular driver’s license or automobile temps. 3 day class, $320.

The BRC-2 is an intermediate class that teaches you skills to improve your riding experience. This course is for experienced riders that have at least 2,000 miles of riding on their own motorcycle and can control their personal bike in low speed maneuvers. You must be at least 18 years old and will need to ride your own motorcycle in class. You will need your motorcycle temps for the class. 1 day class, $200.

For both classes, upon successful completion, you will receive a $25 gift certificate and valuable coupons for local motorcycle shops, a completion card to receive your motorcycle license at your local DMV and to receive insurance discounts for your motorcycle insurance (depending on your insurance company).

  • I want to take the BRC-2 class, however my motorcycle temps is expired for the 3rd time and I can’t renew it again, what can I do?

Sign up and pay for the BRC-2 motorcycle class and send us an email requesting for proof of enrollment. We will send you the paperwork you need to renew your motorcycle temps at your local DMV for the class.

  • If I am under the age of 18 years old and want to receive my Motorcycle Temps and ride my motorcycle before a beginner motorcycle class (BRC-1), what should I do?

Register and pay for the BRC-1 class and send us an email requesting proof of enrollment. We will send you the paperwork that is required by DMV for you to receive your Motorcycle Temps.

  • What type of gear is required for both motorcycle classes?

Above the ankle-bone footwear, long sleeved shirt or jacket, durable long pants (no holes in the pants, no jogging pants and no stretch pants), full fingered gloves, eye protection and a DOT approved helmet( ½, ¾ or full face are acceptable). All detailed gear is State of Wisconsin required and you can’t ride without it!

For the BRC-1 class we have helmets and gloves for you to use at no extra cost, however it is highly recommended that you provide your own (sanitary reasons).

For the BRC-2 class you are required to have all of your own gear and motorcycle.

  • Retest and additional training information

Private dirt bike riding lessons- $80/hr

Retake both days of driving the motorcycle - $150

Retake just the second day of driving the motorcycle - $75

Call (920) 379 - 0897 to schedule a retest or additional training and to discuss payment options.

*Note (State rule applies): Only a second retest is allowed. If you fail the test the second time, the whole course must be retaken after a year.

  • At what age can my son/daughter start the driver’s education program?

Your son/daughter can start the program as early as 14.5 years of age. That will allow time to complete the 30 hour classroom and study the Motorist’ Handbook to receive the Temporary license at 15 years of age.

  • What are the steps for my son/daughter to obtain their automobile driver’s license?

    • Register with us for the full course and save $50! Complete 30 hours of classroom

    • Schedule and take the Road Test.
  • When my son/daughter begins the behind the wheel training, how do we set up the lessons, where will you pick them up and how long is each lesson?

Email us that your son/daughter passed the Temps test and their available schedule to drive with us. We will then reply with drive dates and times.

We will pick up and drop off your son/daughter at school or home. If you live far away, we may set up a convenient location for both of us, to pick up and drop off.

There are 6 lessons that are 2 hours long. 1 hour will be observing another student and 1 hour they will drive. These 6 lessons will be spread out throughout the 6 months they carry their Temps.

Please email us with any changes that need to be made to the driving schedule as soon as possible and for sure before 48 hours before the scheduled drive or charges may apply.

  • When does the first behind the wheel lesson need to occur?

Ideally the first lesson is within 30 days of receiving your temps, but at most 60 days of receiving your temps. Please email us immediately after receiving your temps.

  • What is the difference between the 30 hour online classroom and the 30 hour Hybrid classroom?

Our 30 hour online course is the best in the state of Wisconsin and can be completed at your own pace, just as long as it is completed in 90 days from start to finish.

The Hybrid classroom is 20 hours of the objective curriculum that can be completed at your own pace online and the other 10 hours of subjective information will be completed in an activity based, interactive and high energy classroom!

Had a wonderful experience with the Basic Riders Course. The instructor Randy was very knowledgeable. He provided a safe and fun environment in which to learn. I would recommend the course for individuals who have never touched a motorcycle or those with more experience that are looking to improve their riding skills.

Jeff is a great instructor. Always cracking jokes and putting people at ease. As a person that had no experience on a motorcycle, I felt a lot more confident after the classes. I would recommend this place to anyone interested in getting started riding

A lot has changed in the 6 years it's been. Updated and secluded property. Most interested in going here because they offer the intermediate course that is a single day. Glad to see that hasn't changed but the establishment has changed for the better. I would highly recommend anyone looking to get an automobile or motorcycle license, to go here.

What a great place! My class leader's name was Matt.. He was very informative and easy to ask questions ask questions.. The class is perfect for people who have never picked up a bike or have some riding experience. You definitely work on all your skills over and over again so you can get them down and ride safely. Definitely recommend

Jeff, our RiderCoach, was an amazing person. He helped us through the courses and gave us a lot of tips. I’m glad that I had the opportunity to take his class and successfully pass, especially for everyone who else there who passed as well in this photo.

Just took the safety course this past weekend and was absolutely amazed. Having zero experience and never having ridden a bike before this group of people is amazing. And I have way more confidence in riding then I ever thought I would. Shout out to Ryan and Jeff- thank you so much for the knowledge and help you've given! Still got a lot to learn but so glad I got started with such good teachers! And had a blast on the bike I got!
